Wow. Weeks have passed, and I have pretty much not blogged about much of anything lately.
Not that I don't have plenty to say. I do. I always have plenty to say.
My "busy season" (which stretches from August to mid-January, causing my husband to object to the word "season") is officially over. In theory, reasonable hours are ahead, and I may even start getting a decent amount of sleep. I'm trying to settle back into a routine, which will hopefully involve making my way back to the computer to blog.
This morning, I was eager to get back into the routine. Got the kids up and breakfast started so Mike could sleep in. Then I settled on to the couch to read the newspaper. Despite the fact that I get all the news I need online, I still love reading the newspaper.
It was 6:30, though, so I was not all that eager to head outside to retrieve today's paper. No worries since I had a handy stack of papers from the last few weeks all piled up near the couch in the living room. I happily caught up on news stories and new movies. Until I got to the story about fun family halloween activities.
Um, halloween?
Yep. The newspaper was from October.
This could be interpreted as a sign of exactly how not-relaxing my fall was. Or perhaps even a commentary on my housekeeping skills.
Instead, I prefer to see it as me getting a head start on my 2012 halloween planning.

Jen, that is really funny! I say you are doing your part to keep our landfills to a minimum! Glad you are catching your breath though!!!
Hee hee. That is funny. I hope that this truly will be a quieter season for you...work-wise any way. I don't think it will ever be quiet with three busy kids!!
